Mentalism show at ESSEC’s kick-off in Paris
A mentalism show and close-up magic for more than 500 guests at the ESSEC Business School kick-off in Paris, built around a Star Wars theme and Jedi powers.
On 6 October 2026, a student list at ESSEC Business School hosted a Star Wars–themed kick-off. The event took place on the school’s campus in Paris and brought together 500 guests. I performed a corporate mentalism show, followed by close-up magic.
How it went
The theme of the evening shaped the performance. I tailored the mentalism show to emulate the Jedi’s powers of influence. The students were amazed by the experiments, which fit right into the world of the saga.
Close-up magic followed, right among the guests. The energy in the room was excellent. For me, the evening brought back memories of my own student years.
